DOMINICA
Known as The Nature Island, Dominica stands as one of the most significant milestones in the Valero Design Studio portfolio. Our first major project was developed in the city of Portsmouth, marking the beginning of our journey in the Caribbean. With its breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture, we had the opportunity to explore innovative designs that emphasize resilience and sustainability throughout the region.
GUYANA
As one of the fastest-developing nations in the region, Guyana has offered Valero Design Studio a dynamic landscape to grow and create. The country’s rapid development, combined with its strong and diverse culture, has allowed us to undertake a wide range of projects — from conventional to contemporary architecture, and from minimalist concepts to richly detailed designs. ARCHITECT
Ernesto Leonardo Valero Urra is a Cuban-born architect and founder of Valero Design Studio, recognized for merging Caribbean identity with modern, sustainable design. He has developed residential and commercial projects across the Caribbean and Latin America, emphasizing contextual architecture, material integrity, and environmental harmony. Fluent in Spanish and English, Ernesto leads multicultural teams with a collaborative and ethical approach, creating spaces that connect people and place.
